We celebrated Jack's 2nd birthday on the 3rd of August. He loves cookie monster and I saw a cake at Albersons but rather than buying it I just copied it. Mine was better anyway because it had layers of raspberry and lemon curd in the middle (really good), and I got Tanya to decorate it for me. I think he had a good day. We all got together at my moms house for cake and presents. Jack is a lot of fun. He loves to act like a monster throwing his arms up in the air and roaring at us. He will eat anything like cookie monster. He has inherited my laugh, and my vocal ability. Other than Josh we really don't know what V.C. (voice control) is. When he pretends to talk on the phone he says hi, lets out a loud laugh and then says buy. I guess that's how I must sound. We love him and all that he brings or throws to our family.

I had to put this picture in. Jack loves to taunt Sophia. He will take her things and then run away hoping she'll chase him. I wonder where he gets it from? (Josh?) Oh, and yes he has a fully loaded diaper and his pj shirt on. If I don't leave the house then we don't get dressed. Which is often. Why should I make extra laundry for myself?
Tom and Tanya spent the summer here and are leaving tomorrow so we had a farewell bbq at my moms. This is what Jacks face looked like after eating his chocolate ice cream cone.

I love this post. It was so fun to see Jack having such a good time on his birthday. He is really growing up, getting lots of hair and looking more and more like his daddy everyday. I love the picture of Josh and Jonah too. He is getting so chunky - Jonah, not Josh. Great job on the cake! We love and miss y'all!
Alright, I know I'm his aunt and all.... but really, has there ever been a cuter little boy born? I don't think so! :) His personality just shines through these pictures.
