Slade Family Day Hike!

As many of you know Sunday is Slade family day. It is our designated day where we hang out together as a family. Today after church we went up the canyon and hiked up to some small waterfalls Josh came across the other week. We had a lot of fun. I forgot Jack's shoes but Josh had to carry him the whole trail anyway because it was steep and narrow. Sophia did great, and so did I for being just about 8 months pregnant. Once we made it to the top Sophia and Jack had a great time playing on the rocks and throwing things into the water. On the way home Josh stopped at a bait, ammo and liquor store to take my picture. What was great was in the back of the store there was a woman drinking a 2 litre of pepsi. We should have gotten a picture of that as well. We also took the kids to the park, but by then Jack was done and started to have a major meltdown. I tried to put all the pictures on a slide show but everytime I post it someone else's pictures show up so here are a few pictrues from our day. Thank you Daddy for a wonderful Slade family day.

My kids today

I took these pictures of the kids this morning before Sophia went to preschool. Sophia just loves to pose for pictures. I tried to get her to not pose but she just doesn't know how. Sophia and I caught Jack lying on the couch with his sippy cup so we decided to take a picture. He drinks more than he eats. I know in the last picture he has a nasty booger eye. We have an appointment set later this month to schedule his eye probing. He's had a clogged tear duct since birth and we're done massaging and using eye drops to try and clear it up.

Yesterday morning Sophia arranged all of her cuddly animals on her bed and she wanted me to share some pictures of them. I love how she added a wig to her care bear at the end of her bed. I also took a couple of pictures of her kitchen that she got for Christmas. It is the cutest kitchen and she has so much fun playing with it.
