Grandpa and Grandma Slade's Visit

This past weekend Grandpa and Grandma Slade came from Arizona to visit. We were so happy to have them here with us for a couple of days. Jonah got to meet Grandpa for the first time. We watched a lot of football (by we I mean Josh and Keith of course), played Scrabble (Grandma and Josh), went out for ice cream to Dewars, Grandma and I got a little shopping in, Grandpa took the kids for walks (Jack had to be on the leash), ate way to much, oh and Grandma taught Sophia how to play Scrabble. All in all it was a great weekend. We were sad to see them go, but are excited we get to see them over Thanksgiving break when we go to Arizona. Grandma, on the way home from school the other day Sophia told me she just can't believe she is the 1st child to beat you at Scrabble. Neither can we. Thanks for the gifts, and memories. We love you. Keith we hope your feeling better.

Check out the spread. Grandpa and Jack watching football and carrying on the snacking tradition.

Jonah's got Grandpa's gorgeous blue eyes and double chin

Happy baby! Jonah drools more than any baby I know. I need to start keeping bibs on him all day to absorb all that spit.

Modeling their new outfits from Grandma and Grandpa. Check out Jack's shirt. Great find Grandma.

Woohoo! I'm first! The competitive spirit lives on. Thanks for being great hosts. We are still suffering the ill effects of overeating (not your fault), just like when we went on the cruise. Miss you all more than ever now. Can't wait for Thanksgiving. The kids are so cute and sweet.

How fun! I didn't realize Jonah was a chunk. I really want to squeeze those thighs. When are you guys going to come visit us in Utah? I need to see those cute kids.

Melissa I am panicking that we are not going to hang out before Halloween. I am so sorry about my lack of free time. We may just have to have a Thanksgiving craft day instead. I will call you soon!
