For those of you who don't know my brother Sean is serving a mission in Taichung, Taiwan. I wanted to share a video clip from a dvd that we received from his mission president. The night after Sean arrived his mission president took him and the other new missionaries to a night market where they had to share their testimonies. In Mandarin Chinese mind you. I am really proud of Sean and was moved to see him in the streets of Taiwan, Book of Mormon in hand, bearing his testimony in Chinese. In his mission instead of knocking on doors they contact people on their scooters. I thought that was pretty interesting. I hope you enjoy the video.

thanks so much for adding this to your blog. I saw it at mom's but I love to see it over and over!
I loved seeing Sean! I will have to show that Brody.
What an awesome video to have received from Sean's mission! I'm all teary-eyed over it. He looks so good. Are you allowed to email him or is it snail mail? Tell him hello from the older Slades.
i wish i could have heard him speaking mandarin instead of that cheesy song! i can't believe how grown up he is. i know y'all are so proud of him. what a cutie!
Wow Melissa,
How exciting for him and how proud your family must be. Congrat.

I absolutely loved that video. I saw it at my parents house. I kept thinking of your mom watching it. I can't imagine how proud she must be. (I suppose your dad is equally proud, but I was just thinking of your mom.) After watching, Brian and I realized that Davin only has 13 more years until he goes on a mission. IT's a long time, but it seems so short to me. Crazy.
Thank you for posting that. I am still waiting for my copy of the things that Sean has sent home. I would say paitently, but now after seeing that I will start to bug mom!
