Yesterday we took the kids to Boo at the Zoo. It was a lot of fun. They had crafts, games, a jump house, and a train ride. Not to mention the animals and playground. It rained on us a few times but not to bad. We all rode the train and Sophia enjoyed the jump house and the whole experience only cost us $4. It was a great family day.
Sophia is not to shy when it comes to playing with others. She'll just join in the fun even if the other kids ignore her. We love to watch her try and recruit friends to play with. Usually she'll say, "Hi I'm Sophia Rose Slade want to play?" Yesterday she approached a girl on the playground who just ignored her and left the playground and walked over to her mom to get away from Sophia, but that didn't stop Sophia from following her and talking to her even when she was hiding behind her mom. Sophia eventually ran back to play unaffected by the whole thing.
Sophia tried to walk across the log but didn't quite make it all the way. Josh had to step in and help her finish crossing. Jack was done with pictures and was ready to go.

I can't wait to get there and squeeze those little sweeties! See you tomorrow!
Don't you wish that you still had the confidence that Sophia has? I know I do! What a great quality. It sounds like it was a great day! I love all the pictures. Whats with the glasses on Josh? When did he start that again?
Is Grandma Slade coming to visit? Lucky you! :)
love the stories! jack is such a handsome little master and sophia is so cute and outgoing. i can just see her following that little girl around, not in my peripheral vision though! HA!
Sophia sounds like she has such a funny personality. And I know I've said it before, but it is crazy how much Jack looks like Josh! He is seriously a clone.
Aww that's so cute about Sophia, you go girl! What a wonderful personality trait!
Was this at CALM? I had no idea. Looks like a lot of fun.
