Sophia's Halloween Pinata and star ornament
Have you ever had one of those days where you felt so happy to be a mom? Tuesday was one of those days. Sophia had preschool in the morning and afterwards we picked up her friend Madison for a play date. On our way home we stopped off at the Dollar Tree to pick up a couple of things. The girls each got to pick out a coloring book and were excited. We came home to a pizza that Josh had dropped off for us. (what a wonderful Daddy) After lunch while they girls colored in their books I made some dough for them to make hand prints and ornaments. They had a lot of fun. A few weeks back when our friends Danny and Michelle were here visiting we decided to paper mache. (which none of us had done since grade school) Sophia decided to turn hers into a pinata that her and her cousins will crack open on Monday when we have a Halloween dinner party at Grandma's with all the family. It is such a wonderful feeling to see your children so happy.

I wish we lived closer so that we could do crafts together! Ha! I never thought I would say that. And our boys need to hang out! They would totally wrestle each other. Teague is pretty agressive, but a totally sweetie too!
